I am hopeless at basic maths!
So I got 70% on my first assignment, and it was worth 30% of my final grade.
I got 76% on my second assignment that was worth 70% of my final grade.
What will my final grade be out of 100?
Can someone assist? Also can you prove the sums of how to work it out? I know it is really simple, but my mind just won't compute!

70% x 30 = 21%
76% x 70 = 53.2%
21 + 53.2 = 74.2%

Thanks. I knew it was easy. I was doing that on the calc, but it wasn't adding up. I think the batteries are dying!

No worries, definitely time for a new calculator is it a scientific one? Normal calculators won't like it if you type it all in at once and sometimes calculators can be funny with percentages
