I went to the Dr last week to get a script and asked about why my periods are super heavy these days.. TMI on days 2,3 and 4 I am going to the toilet every half hour to an hour. and sometimes during the night I have to get up or i leak through
Anyways he prescribed these tablets which I started taking last night. I have to take 2 tablets 3 times a day while AF is here..
so curious if they worked for others and what sort of side effects you got from them.. One of the side effects listed was dizziness which I think I have but I could also be tired I am not sure.
Yes I've used cyclokapron, and it's been a lifesaver for me, but I also have problems with using it. I get nasty cramps and diarrhoea, but I still use it when I need to. (TMI warning) my periods were so heavy I was soaking through a super tampon and a maternity pad in a little over an hour, so it was either take it or resign from paid employment LOL. So what I do now is I take 1-2 when my period first starts then 1 again several hours later, then I'll take 1 on an as-needs basis (when the flow starts to amp up again). They are pretty fast acting and I've found if you can staunch that first gush then the rest of the period doesn't tend to be so heavy anyway.
I paid $51 for a jar of 100 but at the rate I'm taking them and the infrequency of my periods it'll probably last until I'm totally menopausal LOL.
