An interesting take on the education system

I watched this youtube video on the advice of a friend whose teachers wanted her to medicate her son, only for him to be later diagnosed as a bit of a musical and science genius. It's very interesting though for anyone who has kids in school, particularly those who are "struggling" in some aspects of their education.

I agree with everything the clip said. Working in tertiary education, I find that it is really hard for students to learn how to think critically and creatively as primary and secondary schools basically discourage kids from thinking for themselves...
