good morning ladies

i am currently making myself a handbag. the pattern asks for fusible interfacing but i have a roll here of sew in interfacing so i was going to use that up before i went and bought some fusible interfacing. anyway the only way i am going to keep it still is by pinning it. i was wondering can i use the quilt basting spray on it or would fabric glue be better?
