Help me make a list! (please!!)

My DS is starting school next year, and I want to start buying all the bits and pieces so it is not one bill all in one hit. So just like the title says, can you please help me make a list of things I will need, and also so I don't forget things that might be essential (well at least in the mind of a 5 yo)

I already have ordered the uniform.

So what else??

Library bag
drink bottle

Go see the school see if they have a book scheme or are you going to need a book list and go from there.

I good quality permanent marker and material marker - life savers on free dress days or something when they are taking something without their name on it. mine are hidden in a safe place away from DF and DD lol I learnt to hide them the hard way!!
