It's coming to that crazy time of year again, the time of all the office parties, family barbecues and Christmas.
So i just wanted to put it out there, a quick reminder to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE play it safe over the silly seaon.
Take Care on the Roads
Stay Safe Around Water
Let People Know Where Your Going if your heading away (especially out bush)
For those in fire prone area's PLEASE get your fire plans and house FIRE READY!
And in all the rush, hustle and bustle pelase remember "It's better to be late than to never arrive at all"
So to all my beautiful BB ladies and gents, play it safe over the Silly Season and i hope it's a good one!
Can I specifically add, please, whatever you do, DON'T drink and drive, or let a loved one do so....
And, on a lighter, note, if your MIL/SIL/Mother/sister/etc is giving you the absolute irits over the holiday season, take a deep breath, count to ten and remember.... 'tis the season to be jolly and show goodwill to all (even rabid rellies!). Failing that, there's always the BB Boo Hoo Room waiting for you when you get home
Great advice and also for me, very timely. I've just found out an old school friend has lost her life along with the lives of her two small children in a car accident :'(
And one more thing... It may not be as relevant as the stay safe card but mentally relevant after the silly season.
Only spend what you can afford. I hate seeing so many people torn up in the new year because they over spent trying to make everyone happy and they can't figure out how to get back on top of things.
The road tolls lately are HORRIFIC, please please remind everyone you know to take care, do NOT drink & drive, do NOT get in a car with anyone who you think is not safe to be driving... please please be safe everyone.
All GREAT advice and i really hope everybody stays safe these holidays.
N2L - Thats why we don't invite family that drive us crazy over for christmas! I'd have to take many deep breaths and count to a million to be calm enough to be in the same room as a certain family member.
