just a quick one from me, I am going in at 3pm to get a VBAC induction, am 9 days over and cervix still fully closed getting a foley catheter put in and will stretch the cervix and once it falls out it should be about 4cm, then they will break the waters and go from there! wish me luck, its going to be a LOOOOOONG night!

    Hey Yogibear,

Whoo hoo!!!!!! for a great scan! Must be such a relief after your earlier scare with the scan . You and DH did so, so well to keep the sex a surprise.... I don't think I will be able to help myself, he, he! I think it will be the best surprise ever when you give birth though... wish I had of done it for DS but really want to know for this one as we have decided to only have 2 kiddies... really hoping for a DD but as you say as long as bubs if healthy that is all that really matters.

My scan went really well today too ! Bubs was measuring exact for dates and we were classed as low risk for everything. An interesting fact... they calculated my risk at the age they collected my eggs so risk was done at 31 years instead of the 33 I am now .

We tried to con the ultrasound tech lady into giving us a hint as to the sex but she wasn't giving anything up stayed sitting on the fence. According to the nub theory (thanks Baby Dream Time) Little Bean is looking like a DD but then DH and I though we saw a little 'you know what' as well so maybe another DS??? So still 50/50 !

MHB - Hope all went well for you and you are enjoying your 1st precious days with your little one !

to everyone else and I second TGIF Yogibear!!!!!!

mhb - hope things are happening now

Coral and yogi - congrats on your scans So good to hear that everything is going well

I had another scan yesterday since bubs is looking small - no obvious issues thankfully Just a bit littler than average.

kass: not long for you now! you might have your bub before me!

    hello everyone else!

AFM: still no bub, 12 days over today but... woke up at 7am with contractions, getting worse now, 4-5mins apart and last almost a minute, DF has gone to drop our son off at his grans which will take 3 hours round trip so hopefully he gets back in time! no waters broken yet thank god, going to try and stay home as long as possible. I truly hope I have a baby in my arms tonight! I am so scared the pain will die off again like every other time but been 3 and a half hours so far so thats the longest yet, wish me luck!

Hi ladies. I thought I might tentatively join here. Very early days, but a nice strong line on the FRER yesterday has me hopeful. Seeing the GP tomorrow to request b/w and a dating scan.

Melissa, congrats on the great beta result!
