Think I need to go to the dr

Bub is 19 days old, and since she was born I have had a massive headache.
At first I thought it was from being tired. When my milk came back in, I thought it might have had something to do with it cos it got a lot worse and I had a pretty bad case of engorgement. But it hasn't gone away!
Now I'm also getting really bad dizzy spells and almost constantly feel like I'm going to pass out. My pp bleed has settled to a liner every second day, but it is bright red and mucousy, and the cramping has gotten worse (ob has sent me for ultrasound to check for any retained placenta). I am tandem feeding, but drinking and eating non stop.

Any ideas what might be causing the headache and dizziness?

Did you have an epidural? Because that's exactly what I had from a spinal fluid leak after the spinal I had for the c/s. Lying flat helped, but I needed an epidural to apply a 'blood patch' to fix it.

It sounds like you definitely need to go to the doctor I hope they figure out what's causing you the issues quickly and you start getting some relief

    Yep, definitely Dr for you!

Headaches/dizziness can also be a sign of bp issues. Better to get it checked out to find out for sure, and get it treated.

No epidural this time, I only had the gas
Blood pressure has never been an issue, but I suppose you never know what can change

Maybe it's from dh being home, we've spent the last 4 weeks together and it has done my head in a dew times

You can actually develop some eclampsia post birth. It's rare, but it does happen. Go get checked out.
