Dh and I have decided that we need to leave the town we are in, is getting too big, and not a good group of people, need a fresh start.
We are looking for somewhere small, good for families, preferably in Victoria, were thinking somewhere like halls gap, but now dont think that will work too well.
Just wanting to see if anyone has any recommendations as we don't really have anywhere that we know very well and any input would be greatly appreciated.
Tia.
(btw I am aware this is vague, but really don't have anywhere to start lol)
What would you be looking for work-wise? Can you get work anywhere? We moved to where were are because we needed a change and so DH went on the look out for jobs and this one came up so we moved to our current location. The move would have been disasterous if we had not had a good stable income.
What's your view on things like proximity to hospitals, major freeways, beaches, mountains etc?
Pretty easy work wise, dh is a laborer, and I am admin.
Really aren't too fussed about much, would love somewhere with a lot of space, and nature, would prefer to stay within an hour or two or where we are (Melton) so we can come back but really just looking for wherever feels right for us.
is Ballarat too big for you? You could always live on the outskirts somewhere if you don't want to be in the town. I lived there many years ago and liked it but was single then so don't know what it is likely for families.
