I just saw the title of your thread and tought immediately that I would love someone to give us a family pressie like that! Such a nice idea.
My only question is are they those sorts of people who do the zoo and such?
So I'm trying to think of xmas present ideas for our friend's nearly 4 & nearly 8 yr old boys. They are totally spoilt and have 5 gazillion toys etc.
So I thought maybe a zoo pass for the family - so essentially a 'shared' present.
Wondering if this is a good idea - would you like your kid(s) to receive that as a gift?
I thought I could wrap them up in a box and put in cut-out pictures of lions, tigers, bears (ha ha!) etc to make it a bit more interesting....

We get a zoo pass every year from my dad. It is fairly expensive though for a yearly pass. We do use it a lot and it is a great gift!
My parents buy it for us and we love it and use it lots, great gift idea.
Yep, agreed! Fab idea, I'd be super stoked to receive Zoo passes as a gift, great idea Mrs P!
Thanks girls! I know they have been before, so I think they are 'zoo people'.
I looked at the annual pass, but it's $41/child, so $82 for the two kids and then the parents would have to pay each time they went (parent annual pass was about $70!!). I think a one visit family pass was around $57.50. So much more in our budget of around $20-30 per kid![]()
I think it is a great present![]()
Awesome present.
Anything that isnt a plastic piece of crap that will make a mess in my loungeroom would be awesome! My mum is getting us tickets to Sea World for Christmas
Moo was given 2 adult tickets to a zoo for his 2nd birthday, being that age he is free so it paid for DH & I. We thought it was a fantastic present! The three of us had a great time![]()
I'd love it if someone gave me zoo tickets
