    VBA twin C?

Hi everyone I have tentatively started doing some research on VBAC with the hope that I can avoid another cs (both my girls were breech and I developed obstetric cholestasis so had scheduled cs at 37 weeks). Just wanted to know if having had a twin cs makes any difference, more on whether the scar is weaker due to uterus being stretched more. Apologies if silly question, any ideas? Thanks so much xx

As far as I am aware, VBAC after twins is quite common. It's more VBAC after singleton with twins that is a concern to some OB's at the scar gets stretched that bit further. You have a good gap between your pregnancies, so I doubt there will be any reason why you can't have a lovely VBAC

No, I'm quite sure that doesn't make a difference at all. Hope you have an awesome VBAC!!

    hey there
    i had a VBAC after a twin pg c/s
no difference with your cut with a twin c/s compared to a singleton. Only one baby comes out at a time so doesnt matter. Its the scar that is the issue with a VBAC rather than how far your uterus is stretched
I had an AWESOME VBAC but it wouldnt have gone that way if I hadnt stuck to my guns and known what i wanted so make sure you are prepared!!!
Read my birth story if that helps
    Good luck and congrats

Thanks so much for your replies and reassurance. When I am feeling a bit more secure about this pregnancy I will discuss with OB. But assume he will have no issues if that is the case xx

Hi everyone, birth story to come but just wanted to post that I had a successful VBAC at 41 weeks, still getting over the emotion of it and so happy how everything turned out. X
