A big fat nuttin! He has me. What else could he possibly want or need?

Nah, we aren't doing pressies between us this year. Saving our pennies instead.

Nothing. We had to replace our TV recently (it died after 15 years of service lol). So we decided that we wouldn't buy each other anything. It's not like we actually need anything anyway.

Bunnings vouchers. He wants a new wipper snipper but wants to choose it himself. Really any excuse for him to go to bunnings will do. our DD's have got hime socks and jocks and we will pick out a new broad brimmed hat for him.

His b'day is the 30th so will get him jack Daniels Select his favourite drink and a nice shirt.

Previous years he has had an electric shaver, a V8 Driving experience and more of the above

We have a set budget for each other and I'll buy him a couple of things that he's asked for (new psy game) and a couple of other things he may have mentioned or that he needs.

Thankfully, I got a special deal on a printed mug when Amelia had photos done last week, so I've said that can be his present Otherwise he'd have been getting nothing

A home brew kit. He is so keen to try it so I figured why the heck not. And he can make me some Apple Cider when I can drink again

We're not giving each other anything, with the baby due shortly before xmas and his 40th just after the new year we kinda said we didn't really care Our gifts to each other had gotten less and less since Moo arrived anyway so it was bound to happen sooner or later!

We aren't spending much on each other this year but we do like to buy each other gifts just to do something nice for one another and I think it's the thought that counts as we see Christmas as a time of giving to the ones you love. Plus we don't really buy each other random little gifts anymore, but do make the effort on special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries etc). Usually I would go online and buy from overseas but that deadline has well & truly passed lol so I am actually at a loss this year.

Things have been so crazy I haven't even had the time to think about poor DHs gift, we are just too caught up in buying things for our little man lol oops. Last year I remember part of the gift I got him was a "worlds best Dad" BBQ apron & he loved that.

This year I am going to buy him some things I know he needs (new shorts for example) and also something more of a keepsake/ gesture type thing as well, as that usually goes down well & I write it from me & our baby. So anything personalised with photos, Dad related, handmade etc.

Sorry I couldn't be much help! I actually might pop out to the shops on the weekend & see what I can find lol. Good luck & I'm hoping to find some inspiration on here too lol

Well, DH and I have kind of just combined gifts this year for big ticket items we've been saving for, which is so far a TiVo and our Stokke. I also have a little leather elephant ornament in mind for him, and a half meter canvas of him and DD and our wedding. His bday is dec 9 and I'm yet to think if something for that.

    A new baby girl

We are expecting really soon, his birthday is the day after our babys due date and 7 days before Xmas. I plan on getting him some family guy dvd's and some itunes vouchers. Only little token things this year, partially because of finances too

Nothing and I expect the same LOL, we always go away at Christmas and that cost enough along with presents or kids, nieces and nephews. We were spoilt as kids and we like to do the same for all the little one's in our life. Neither of us has a problem getting something we want during the year and at the end we both get a holiday we want an need. But we always get each other a card, cards are personal and it's always lovely to get a sweet message.
