Im getting my mirena out today what can I expect. Im also a bit worried as we DTD 2 days ago and am due to ovulate now whats my chances of being unlucky. Im not ready for another baby right now. Im getting it removed because of the side efects

They say that fertility can return immediately but I think you would be really unlucky to get pregnant so soon after removal.

When mine went AWOL I had to have a scan and they couldn't find it anywhere. The Dr decided that since I suddenly had a heavy period after ages with no period it must have fallen out. Kind of embarrassing to think that something that size could fall out without me even noticing

One of our members had to have their removed under a GA after it went AWOL because it had moved up into the side of her uterus.
