    Thank you for your support!

    Hey girls,

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your support during my mission for a

I got the spontaneous labour I wanted, got to 8cm, then DD became obstructed and stuck in my pelvis causing my cervix to swell and go nowhere except backwards. I'll put a birth story up soon, but only got home yesterday. I still couldn't love her any more if she came out my lady parts, but my mission is over. After two emergency c/s, I'm done with them. I know that's not everyone's decision, but it will be mine. The recovery after 48 hours without sleep, then major surgery, has been horrendous and I'm frankly exhausted. In a way I feel I have failed - or at least that my body has failed me. But it conceived and grew a wonderfully healthy baby girl, it got most of it right.

I will continue to stalk in here and champion vbacs - you are a wonderfully resilient and powerful group of women who want the best for yourselves and your babies! Love and luck to each and every one of you.

Wannabe mum, firstly congatulations on the birth of your little girl.
I know how you are feeling right now lovely woman. It might be hard to fully believe it right now, but you did all that your body and baby wanted you to do.
I also attempted a vbac (actually a hbac) and my dream was not fulfilled.
If you ever want to chat about those feelings, I'm here.
Much love and gentleness to you while you heal

    Congratulations on your little one!!
You did great to get to 8cm, you should be proud of yourself. You did an awesome job and you deserve a medal!!
So you didn't get your VBAC, you have a gorgeous bubba here safe and sound.
I know you would feel a bit disappointed, but the main thing is you TRIED. That's alot more than some women do.

I agree with all of the other girls WBM, better to have tried and not succeeded with your dream than never to have dreamed and tried at all. I am looking down the barrel of a HBAC soon and I just want to give it my everything and then I will be happy regardless of what the outcome is. You did that and I think you should be really happy that you gave it your best. You have nothing to regret as far as the things you could effect change in. Enjoy your babymoon. I hope you get some rest and start to enjoy everything much better soon
