Well he's asleep, I've had a shower and washed off all the itchy little bits of cut off hair and discovered that my car seat is actually surprisingly easy to pull out of the car and get all the padding/covers off and chuck them in the wash - Yay!

You girls wouldn't believe it but i got a blocked duct on the left boob, trying to unblock it and will just have to keep an eye on it.

    Jan i hope your ok??

Abby woke at 1.30am then 4.30am this morning but have noticed the last day or two she is starting to have some more wakeful periods.

Sometimes I just want to punch my computer in the head... I write this big long thing and BAM the silly thing poops itself!

    How has everyone's afternoons been?

Jan - How are you and Jess going? I hope the Little Miss has taken well to the thickener. A girl in my belly group had the same thing with her little one, and she has her on a formula that thickens after it goes into the tummy instead of thickening the formula before.. :/

CK - lol about the poop! DH copped one all over him the other night...

Lolpigs - They like to keep us on our toes thats for sure.. How has your afternoon been??

Nikky, Amumma (Im slightly jealous of the smile you got.. I hate when people say its wind), Amanda, Danni ( i dont think I have forgotten anyone) How have your days been?

So Aubree and I went to see the clinic nurses yesterday, and she has put on 545g since birth, so they are very happy with that.. And this morning I went to a little group called "early days" and the nurses help you with feeding and settling (settling is a big one for us) I got some awesome info about the different types of cries and ways to wrap them. We have had a pretty good day - Well except for arsenic hour from 3am - 5am when the little monkey wouldnt settle after her feed! Hopefully we have a better night tonight

Haha CK, my Aunty just told me a funny story about my cousin peeing out a window becuase of that hose

My afternoon has been ok, she has been very unsettled due to wind but wasn't too bad, perhaps I am just better at coping now? Also noticed a big difference with not pumping. Far less tired and stressed out = win.

That website is great btw Mollie, helped my husband a bit who feels very out of touch with bubs when she wants something and has a hard time figuring it out. I'm like use your instincts.. hes like what are those? haha

We are getting lots of smiles and giggles now and baby noises (oohs and ahs and things) as well as the odd tounge poke thanks to dad haha.

Aw thanks Danni, yeah did work things out with DH I guess but I'm going to monitor things and see how we go... I think maybe we need a bit of "us" time which we havent managed in a while, even if it's just hiring a DVD or something, cos we haven't really made time for each other since violet was born, maybe that's part of the strain... Not that there is any excuse for that behaviour! Ouch @ the blocked milk duct- does massaging it help? How frustrating!!

So DH told the MIL she couldn't stay with us this weekend- but he said its cos "Amanda isn't feeling very well still and wants some space etc" - gee thanks, you couldn't just say "we" want some space?!

Mollie, I'm so going to get DH onto that website! Awesome!! Sounds like a good group, very helpful having people you can relate to, all going through the same stuff!

Lolpigs & AM, awwww @ getting smiles!!!! I so look forward to that

CK - awwwwwwwww that sounds like quite the mess you had there!!! Eww but yay for hair getting done!!

Jan- thinking of you and hope your all okay!

Phew, seat cleaned and all put back together so it can go back into the car tomorrow. Much easier than I thought it'd be too, yay for the Meridian

Alex was quite unsettled and didn't want to sleep this afternoon, till I figured out that he was itchy! After my haircut I'd picked him up and cuddled him and he got all those irritating little off-cut bits of hair on him and they were annoying him...so off to the bathtub with him He settled right down after and went to sleep. Have to admit I was stumped for a while there

Well, just got back from putting Alex on the scales at the clinic - he's now 4.89kg, so nearly 1kg in 2 weeks! Getting to be a chubba

Levi put on 140g in 6 days lol. Midwife said I must have super milk, I think he's just a piggy lol.

He's had a growth spurt and nearly into the next size, some of his outfits are a bit short. His socks are already to small, he's gone up to the next size.
