Mirena and BFing - Supply question

I'm 10 weeks pp and considering getting this done. I'm not keen on going back on the pill and we potentially do want another child in a few years time so no snip for DH. I've read through all the threads and it really does seem to be one of those things where it suits some women and not others. The main thing being - if it doesn't work it's easily removed. My main concern though is breastfeeding and my supply. If the Mirena effects this supply, that's it - it's had an effect and by the time I got it removed etc etc it could have done lots of damage.

I was hoping those who had this inserted while Bfing could tell me whether it effected their supply or not?

This is the reason we stuck to condoms and no hormonal contraception (that worked out well lol). I didn't like the risks of it affecting supply, especially with Mirena. Didn't want to take the risk that I was one of the women affected.

Absolutely no supply issues since insertion here. Have had it for 4 months.
