I bought DS1 (aged 7) some new socks today and was amused that the size he needs (shoe size 4) is labelled for ages 13+. My other kids are also way out for the ages. My 6 years old is a size 2, which is at the upper end of ages 8-12 years, and my twins are size 11 which is at the upper end of 5-8 years (they are almost 4). Are kids just a lot bigger since they decided what ages are approximately correct for each shoe size range, or are my kids just going to have massive clown feet? Would be interested in some comparisons, mainly because I am bored
I am a size 11 shoe, and my poor daughter is taking after me in the foot department! She has just turned 4 and is in an 11 already :| and seems the new bub is going to have the same problem! as her feet look waaaaaaaay bigger than her sisters did as a newborn!
Oh what fun SHOE shopping will be for all 3 of us!
DD is 9 and in size 4, pushing size 5 fairly soon I think - poor child. Mind you, I couldn't steal my mum's size 7 shoes after the age of 12, so I know where she gets it from.
