    Baby - GET OUT

    PREGGY RANT

6 days out from my due date and I have had it. I finally have a chance to sit back and relax now that DH is on leave and all I can think about is "get out now kid". The pelvic pain is there ALL the time, every movement and BH gives me bottom pressure, when I stand up I feel like she is just going to fall out. I cannot cuddle my daughter properly, nor can I play with her easily. I am hungry all the time but do I know what I want to eat? NO!
DH has started feeling randy, it has been ... well you can probably work out how long its been .. but sure, I am in the mood aren't I ... I have a head wedged deep in my groin of course I am in the mood.

Now I am NOT looking forward to the pain of labour, in fact I am more scared this time than I was last time because I know what I am in for but I am so tired of being sore and worn out and grumpy, of not being able to even sit comfortably.

I know I am not the only one to feel like this ......

Does anyone have any ideas of how I can switch off to the pain and enjoy my last few days EVER being pregnant?

oh yes I also feel like eating Thai all day every day but the place who's food I crave is over an hour away

OK baby, it's time to vacate the premises!! lol. And don't give mum too much pain while you're at it. And get out quickly but not too quickly, there must be time to get to hossy but then once mum is there you can exit in the most painless, quickest way possible without causing any big problems. Ok that's all sorted, I'd say jump in the bath and float away all the pains. And stay there until baby is ready to come, lol! GL hun!

ask DH to take your DD out for the day so you can plod around the house on your own and have no noise and relax, thats what I did and it helped a lot.

I can remember thinking the same thing when I was pregnant with Colby.

So I got DP's Aunty over who is a Remedial Massage therapist and got her to give me a massage and hit some pressure points.

Have you thought about a massage or a yoga class. Even a meditation class if you think you can relax enough.

A day at the beach is always relaxing.

On the positive side, all the stuff you're describing sounds perfectly normal and like everything is well on its well to being ready.

    Chin up!

Oh, I sympathise with you...its a long wait. I was 14 days over so, yup, I know what your talking about

Try swimming- I found bobbing around in the water like a hippo was relaxing Seriously, it took the pressure off all my bits.

Otherwise, feet up, choccie in one hand and remote to the DVD in the other while you watch your most fav movie

I'm gonna stalk you now LOL

Looking forward to your BA hun

Hugs love... try just getting your randy hubby to burn off excess energy by taking DD out and about and just sleeping or chilling or nurturing yourself. I think that when you get to this point it is getting you ready to cope with labour. It is like it is trying to get you ready for labour because if you are really really over being pregnant you might not mind labour quite so much.

Anyway, many birth blessings for when your time comes.

Delph ... I am eyeing that horse of mine that I was telling you about ... nothing like a good bounce to get things moving .

Thanks everyone, still nothing here though I am feeling very heavy "down there" when I stand up and move around. I might take another piccie tomorrow and see if there is much difference from last week and pop it on my FB page (feel free to pm me if you want to add me too )

Hubby is a little more understanding today when he saw how difficult it was for me to get off the floor when I was playing with DD ... thankfully he is home this week so he CAN actually pay a little more attention to how hard things are for me.

Still sore and the BH are annoying but I know its part of it (logically) and yes I am still over it though I do love having those moments of preggyness watching my tummy dance.

Time to just let go I spose ....... embrace the pain and know that it won't be too much longer.

OH BTW you'll need to stalk Mayaness she will be updating people here and on my FB

I am with the others on the water side of things.... pool and bath did wonders for me.
Perhaps a massage person could come to your house?
Does Thai food freeze OK? Get your DH to go out and stock up maybe!
Oh and distraction!! Watching lots of funny movies that make you feel good.
Hoping you go straight into labour RIGHT NOW!
    Sending you birthing vibes....
