CD21 blood tests and ovulation on CD17??

For those of you who have experience with this....

I'm supposed to go get my progesterone, LH, FSH, Oestradiol, Prolactin, Testosterone and SHBG bloodtests done on CD21 which is on Wednesday this coming week, however, I only just ovulated yesterday (CD17) which would make me 4DPO on Wednesday...

Should I still go for the blood tests on Wednesday even though I'm only going to be 4DPO or should I wait another few days to get me closer to mid luteal cycle (7DPO)?? I reckon my luteal phase is on the shorter side of 10-11 days as well. Is this good/bad??

    Thanks

I'd do the bloods on CD21 and see what the results come back with & mention it to your GP (whomever sent you for the tests)

    Hi Pretz,
I agree with RhiChiChi. I've done it both ways (ie, delayed til 7dpo when my GP referred me and had them on 3dpo, on the advice of the fertility clinic). Apparently it's clearer/easier to interpret the results if you're less dpo but still have them on CD21. I think it's partly because although you might be sure of you dpo, with whatever method you're using, they aren't sure that that's where you are because you haven't been cycle tracking using medical methods.

I had mine on day 22, CD5, and the levels were too low to tell if I had ovulated, so next cycle I have tests every 2 days to try and catch the egg!
