    Extreme tiredness

Lately I have been extremely tired and very easily exhausted when doing normal household activities.
I vacuum the carpet and have to sit down for 30 min due to what feels like over doing it.
It is hard to explain, it is a tiredness that goes right to the bone, my limbs feel achy and heavy.i can only read on the computer a short time before my eyes get heavy and I need to sleep, it makes it hard to concentrate.
I have even taking to napping during the day, some thing that is very unusual for me (unless hungover )
It has come on only in the last few weeks. Nothing has really changed.
I am taking iron (with vit c) as I am vegetarian and I also take a swisse women's multi.
It is really getting to me, it is horrible
    Can anyone help, please.

If I were you I would go to my gp for a full blood work up. It could be a number of things...low vitamin d or vitamin b, thyroid, blood sugar... Go and get tested Hun

Sounds awful. I have felt like that very occasionally (like post-flu or after a 3-day baby-non-sleeping marathon) and it's debilitating. Can't imagine how hard it is to feel that way for longer and single-handedly care for all those precious kiddlets - huuuuuge hugs.

I can only suggest you go and see your GP as it could be a wide range of things - hormones, thyroid, anaemia (sp?), sleep apnoea, spring to mind but there's bound to be other possibilities too. best to get checked out so you can get to the bottom of it and find your mojo again.

Could it be chronic fatigue syndrome? Have you ever felt this way before?

Thank you N2L, I should go get tested but keep putting it off, so much to do and knowing I will be in for a two hour wait (only did on on Wed for the little man). I have an appt for the litt
E man again on we'd so may slot myself in there too.

Thank your Santosha, I think like most us mums tend to do we just fight through it

I didn't think of that LMS, I hope not as that tends to be around for a long time I have not felt like this before, it is different to lack of sleep with a bub. It is kind of like getting the flu but I am not (if that makes any sense lol)

I have a headache this afternoon which is not helping
