20 m.o. doesn't want nappy on. normal or something else?

My 20 month old is a bit cranky this morning, nothing too bad. However, absolutely cracked it when i tried to put her nappy on. Finally got one on (a disposable) and then she took it off a few minutes later. I got a cloth one out, wondering if the disposable was the problem (we do cloth during the day 99% of the time). Same problem getting it on, and she is putting her hand down her nappy (unusual).

Not sure if it is just the next stage of her asserting her independence or whether she has a tummy or bottom issue going on. No rashes. She didn't poo yesterday but did small one this morning. She norm goes at least daily. She is breastfeeding, but feeds are short and not sure what i am producing at the moment.

    thoughts?

hmmm...has she shown any interest in toilet training? will she choose the nappy she wants to wear (as a way to let her assert some independence)? i wonder how she'd go with a pair of pants? can she communicate whether something hurts?

sorry - no experience, although my DS would run round with no pants on most of the time if allowed

Normal, both my girls have spent the last week naked.
Z rips her nappy off at every given chance even when A isn't naked.
We've had some massive fights over putting her nappy back on!

Sent from my iPhone, more than likely while I should be doing something else!

She did a poo and cracked it when i was trying to wipe, maybe she has a sore bottom? She might be a little dehydrated so i will try to up the fluids today. She has gone to sleep now so will see when she wakes up again.

She is kinda showing signs, she will pull the change mat out and get the wipes when she wants a clean nappy. We have a potty and she sits on it before her bath for a little bit but no action yet.

If she doesnt have a nappy on, she will wee on the floor. We have carpets so not really practical to let her run around nappy free inside.

She doesn't really talk much. I asked if she had a sore bottom or sore tummy, but didn't really get any response. If she bangs her head, arm or leg she will show you where it hurts, but sometimes gets confused about which bit she banged.

    thanks for the reply.

I have been worried about puddles aswell so trying to give her as much outside nappy off time as possible.
Needless to say Miss A comes in and says "mummy i have something VERY IMPORTANT to tell you, Z took her nappy off and she's done Poo's" lucky no mess though.
Drop her here for the day, 3 nudies all at once, A can teach them both about the potty

Next step to TTing. Just sit her on the loo every hour or so. It's how it happened at our house! My DD spent almost all of her 2nd yr naked. I gave up trying to clothe her. She would let me put clothes on her, then go hide in another room and take them off. Meh, it wasn't hurting anyone, and she TT'd really quickly too!
