Hi Cathie, I haven't been in here for ages - so sorry. How is the new pregnancy going?? What's your little man doing now??
My kids loved christmas and got waaaaaay to much as usual but the looks on their faces was so worth it lol. Phoebe is getting so much bigger now (8 months ) and I won't have a baby for much longer. My DD3 starts kinder this year - where has the time gone - and my DS1 starts high school. I'm in total denial about how old they are getting as then I have to remember how old I am lol.
This year is going to be about me. I've decided I have to work on me and find out who I am again. I'm also going to do something about my weight and getting down to a size 12 would be great. I'm seeing my social worker every 3 weeks to debrief and keep myself on track. Jess is a godsend. I don't know what I would have done without her. I am going to look into doing the training to become a doula as well I was going to look at the midwifery programme at our local uni but I don't think I'm in the right head space atm for that much commitment iykwim.
Hope your kids had a wonderful xmas and you had a great New Year. Sending well wishes for this pregnancy too Take care and chat soon
This thread had just dissapeared. Anyway I'm well over the morning sickness YAY, !6 weeks now gee it goes so fast. We found out the sex at our 12 weeks scan, Another baby boy my poor girls.
Xmas was great, I love xmas with the kids. We went away for a week that was fun. My eldest is in year 10 this year. i know what you mean about age I'm 40 this year, soooo in denial about turning 40 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I want to be 30 again heheheheheh. Good on you for doing some training, I need to do my Early childhood, so when i want to get back into work I can, I'm diploma trained in childcare but with changes in the early learning framework i nedd to update. I may look into it next year........
WOW 16 weeks already - that has gone super fast. Another boy too lol now you'll have to think of another name Hey you are only a spring chicken compared to me lol I'll be 44 this year. We are still having some problems with DD1. She came back up from Boorawah about a week ago and since then we have hardly seen her. Yesterday we went into our caravan and found bottles of alcohol that she had in there and when we tried to talk to her about it she got angry and left again. She has now gone to a guys house that she knows (I've met him once) and is staying there. She really doesn't seem to want to be part of our family any more. But I'm over playing the dutiful mum that keeps her mouth shut and I'm letting her know when she does something to upset me. She is also going to put spacers in her ears like omg doesn't she have enough piercings and problems to deal with now let alone trying to find a job with all the crap she has done to herself.
Sorry this has turned into a bit of a vent lol.
Wish I could go away for a while but unfortunately we are flat broke and my anxiety problems are back in force, so I can't even deal with the thought of camping and I love camping. We are busy trying to get our place into some semblance of order as we have been so slack. Maintenance has not been done and it is starting to show. DF has been mowing and whipper snipping and we got a skip to get rid of all the crap out the back. We filled it to overflowing lol and we need another one so we can go through the garage. Oh well I should pull my socks up and start doing my part now but I have absolutely no motivation to do so. Although tomorrow I must do some clothes washing - we are running out and my laundry is about half full of clothes that I have to climb over to get to the washer hehehehehe.
Any hoo time for bed for me. Take care of yourself and bubby, chat again soon xx
