    DD5 Cutting Molars?

Just a random question for you ladies with older children. DD had 2 molar teeth removed under GA in April 2010 due to abscess' (health related complication). She "lost" her first tooth naturally the other week (front bottom) but has been in excruciating pain for the last day. It appears she is cutting new molars at the back where the others were removed (well 1 is in the same spot, the other is actually further back)

Is this normal for kids her age? I didn't think adult tooth/molars came through until later in life once all the baby/milk teeth had come out?

    Any ideas?

Yes - there are 6yo molars that come through at this age. DD1 who is 5yo is cutting them at the moment.

Yay - thanks ladies. I thought there must have been such a thing but I just cant believe how much pain she is in, and the fact they are coming through where teeth have already been removed!

Will keep up the panadol for her and hope the pain reduces soon (she already goes through enough!)
