My DD2 meows at me when she's tired or upset...lol
DD who is 4.5 ( Probably not a toddler anymore - where do I post now???!!!!) has insisted on sleeping on the floor on her fold out couch with this tiny hanky sized spotty blanket for the last week - we had visitors and not enough room one night last week but now she's decided that is THE place to sleep at night and for naps.Im trying to pick my battles right now so just move her once she's asleep but honestly kids are odd!!!
DS 3yrs has a teddy he loves, he coo's to it and it's face has disintegrated from being chewed and sucked on while he is asleep - see? Weird.
So what do your kids do that are a bit loopy/nutty/weird!???

sometimes when DS is having a really good time, he'll headbutt you.
so he'll be running around, laughing, squealing, playing, trying to tickle, and then all of a sudden WHACK! you have a blood lip ...
weird!
Aaahh...the old Glasgow Kiss! DD used to do that!!
DD likes to whisper to me at random times in random public places, 'can we pretend we have a horse/dog/kitten?'
She then walks down the supermarket aisle (or wherever) saying things like, 'Dont forget we need to buy cat litter' or 'Did you remember to buy hay today? We need to ring the farrier when we get home because Sugar has thrown a shoe'![]()
Dad has an aquarium with some coloured stones in it; every now and then my nephew will walk over and pretend to eat the 'fish lollies'![]()
DD currently gets in the main part of the shopping trolley (picture Leo and Kate on the front of the Titanic) and yells loudly "I am Jack the Pumpkin King." and when people turn to her she says oh so politely "Merry Christmas to you." I don't know whether to laugh or crawl in a hole in embarrassment (sp?)

Isaac runs laps. Everywhere we go. We went to look at a house to buy last week and he insisted on running laps around their dining table.
No idea why he does it but he's been doing it since he could walk (supported) around the coffee table at about 9 months old. And it's always anti-clockwise.
Oh wow these are making me laugh! My little one isn't really at the age for weirdness on that level, but I'm really looking forward to it![]()
oh wow - that is so DS as well! and yep, always anti-clockwise
DS finds himself incredibly amusing at times & will stop what he's doing & do this big muhaha laugh with his head thrown back. he also re-enacts a scene from a wiggles dvd every time we go to get into my car at home. he stops in the front garden & tells me a storm is coming & then he runs on the spot & says "run run run (to the) trees, run run run flowers, run run run grass" etc going through all the things he can see. but he doesn't do it at anyone else's house or if we're going in DP's car.
These are too funny!
DD pretends she is a cat/dog/horse all the time & answers me with a neigh or a meow. She also has a hobby horse and gets me to say ready set go as I time her whilst she runs madly through the house. And she is always changing her name, so if I call out to her, she says 'I don't know who that is, I am Rapunzel!' or whomever she is pretending to be on that day!
far out!

these are hilarious! Love all the cat children out there haha!!!
Ds usually goes around the shopping centre repeatedly saying hello to everyone. Apparently he is far more social than me. 80% of the time its the elderly that will respond to him. It does sometimes make shopping take longer than it should while he stops to chat lol.
Wonder if it's a southern hemisphere thing - here in the northern side of the world, DS runs laps clockwise.
And I have a cat child too. Who if I don't respond to the mewlings will tell me "Mamma, me the kitty is talking to you. Meow, meow, meow." (He is so realistic he has had people, even those who are aware of this trick, looking for an actual cat.)
LOL Marydean! I had to google that.
