    What are you wearing on.....

    Christmas Day??!!

I am home alone, DH out at a party, kids at mums and I am bored so I want some inspiration! I always end up throwing whatever I can find and is clean and a bit dressy on the day!!

What about you? Do you dress up? Do you buy something special for the day??

Have to wing it and see what Melbourne presents for weather on Christmas day!
I am looking for something sort of pretty, no luck yet.
Otherwise, a nice pair of jeans, high heals and a top I love that I got from Jigsaw with accessories to jazz it up. I have had my nails done in Shellac and on Sunday I am getting waxed and tinted

I bought a nice new dress to wear, but I'm not sure the weather will be nice enough for it I might tough it out and wear it for at least a little while anyway lol.

I usually wear a skirt and singlet top. I've been looking for a dress for this year but haven't found anything that has really caught my eye so who knows what I'll end up wearing this year.

Last year we wore our jammies all day. This year however we're having company so that isn't an option, especially when you're really pregnant and the forecast is 'fine and 39'. I've been trying to find a nice top to wear with white shorts but there no mat stuff here and my belly is just tooo big for even the floatiest of tops.

I have a nice pair of loose and comfy white linen 3/4 pants and a new red top I got on sale at Millers with ruffly sleeves. Throw on a pair of comfy sandals and that's me done for Christmas day!

I got a black lace tee at Kmart the other day which I might just wear with a black and white skirt I have, plus red shoes, earrings and bracelet! Thing is, I wear the same outfit to work so it feels workey not festive!!!

I tried a Maxi Dress on today, problem is, I am only 5ft 2 so it just doesn't work. So I am on the hunt for something else. Not just for Christmas day though, just in general.

Oh hun, I am 5ft 1 and wear them all the time, I find the more fitted the better and I am a size 14. I have a few from JJ's, Katies and a Kmart jersey one with stripes that I wear a lot!! Keep trying!!

Do you have to alter them? I tried on one today, it was just too long. I could get it altered, it's just such a pain.

I sew myself so I do shorten them but quite a few I have I haven't needed to - they are long but don't drag on the ground!

No, I don't and I'm 5"2 too... A couple I have to watch myself in, but they are ones that I bought when I was heavily pg, so were oversized, so longer... But the ones that are 'sized' i find to be better.
