    Question Lazy girl?

Sophie is just over 6mths and hasnt rolled over by herself yet. We do all the leg over stuff, toys for encouragment, tummy time etc but she just isnt interested in rolling. She can pretty much sit up by herself, chews everything, drinks like a baby fish, swipes any food passing her, spits farex everywhere -so she is pretty normal. Shes 9-10kg so we wonder if her chubb is not helping- but then DS1 is the same build and rolled at 3.5mths, DS2 rolled at 4mths. Should we be worried?

Honestly, I wouldn't be too worried if it was DD. But DD wasn't a 'normal' bub, being a premmie and having abdominal muscle issues.

Have you spoken to your MCHN or Paed??

    I understand your concern tho.

My boys were the same and all was fine.
Worth speaking to nurse at next check or gp to have on radar but I am sure all is fine
They are bundles of energy now! X

We do 6 mth check on friday, but the chinese babys (majority) are set totally different mile stones because of the way they are treated. Its normal for a 9mth old to not sit up by themselves

My DD2 never rolled from back to front - some kids just don't If all her other milestones are ok then I wouldn't be too concerned at this stage.

Hehe she just isn't in-to-it. She is happiest upright in her bouncer or walker. Can play on her tummy for a bit but I guess she doesnt see the point in "roll-over". She can twist her tounge but no rolly polly, kids are funny hey

She sounds great to me DT And yeah, what's the point in rolling over? She can probably do whatever she needs to on her back or sitting up. I was wondering though, do you use cloth nappies? DD seemed to have a bit of trouble rolling when she was learning because of the extra bulk, and now I'm wondering if it's causing issues with her trying to crawl.

Mine didn't do it until after they could sit properly either.

DD did do it a few times at six weeks and then nada until much later.

In summer and up til it got cold she was in MCNs, now she has about a zillion layers of clothes on top of her chubb. She gets this funny look on her face when she tries to push off on the floor and doesnt go anywhere! So you might be right about the bulk Kaytee
