I remember wishing desperately that my DD2 would just lie still for a while. She was so active and so violent. Now I'm desperately wishing for this baby to start with the big kicks so I can get some reassurance!
Sorry you're feeling like a punching bag. Don't have any advice but hope it settles down a little for you.
I had the same thing with DS1 & 2. They were long, big babies (56cm, 4.2kg and 57cm, 3.95kg) and I am fairly short. They were both pretty active babies too. I also had slight polyhydramniosis with DS1 so my belly was just enormous. I felt like I might explode with every movement in late pg and my belly was tender to even touch. It's a terrible feeling. I hope he moves or something to give you some relief.
same with my sons, I was in tears with my second and it went on until 42 weeks, very painful and he never slowed down, mine were also big long boys at 58cm and 53cm. It must be a boy thing! I found if I sat upright on the couch it would ease it rather than lying down.
He particularly hates my bh's and as they are increasing it is getting more painful. Just checked at the hospital and they gave me some very strong painkillers to help me deal with the pain. I think they expect me to be back soon in labour so not long now hopefully.
All of mine have been posterior and so the kicks are at the front. But I can totally sympathise.
I don't have much space between pelvis and ribs, and I put it down to their position and their length (both 56cm). I'm expecting another long'un and...well I'm hearing ya!
