Return, adjust or buy a belt?

I just got a pair of jeans that I ordered online.
I love the company I bought them from - they are sweat shop free, organic, funky and affordable. Problem is that they are UK based. I bought 2 pairs of jeans. One pair fits perfectly. The other pair fits perfectly on the butt and thighs but the waist is about 4" (or maybe 2") larger than they should be.
So now I don't know whether to spend the money to return them for a refund, get them adjusted (not so easy since it's the waistband that is the problem) or just buy a belt (I need a belt that doesn't have a humungous buckle anyway).

    WWYD?

I'm feeling very disillusioned at the moment - my ebay purchase hasn't shown up. I got something very, very cheap so I suspect the seller didn't post it but I can't prove it and it seems petty to chase it and my awesome tights that I bought on etsy are missing too

I would get them adjusted personally, but email the company and let them know. They may offer you a discount off another pair or a free belt or something.

Get them adjusted. I know of a really good alterer in Mt Evelyn.

If they are the same as the other pair I would certainly let the seller know that they are a different size

Buy the belt that you need anyway and see if that helps before making a decision. Good on you for buying ethically.

I'd take them to get them altered.
