Refusing to sleep in Bassinette and Cot during the day - cat napping in swing

Title says it all, at 8 weeks whats the expectation re: sleep? DD seems very hit and miss some days having great sleeps and some days are quite bad.

Lately refusing Bassinette and cot, and only sleeping fr an hour in the swing we have.

Any suggestions? I cant carry her in the sling any more as I have strained my back

    Pram?

My DD is a terrible sleeper and I still have trouble with her I can only get her to sleep in the car now. Will she transfer after she's asleep in the sling? I used to try with DD but it didn't work with her. Other things I tried were a rocker.

What kind of sling do you have? Some are definitely much better than others and can be comfortably used even with back issues. I do hope your back is better soon, in any event.

It is pretty normal to be hit and miss, though. An hour is not too bad

I have a sleepy wrap and an ergo, sleepy wrap is the one that kills me

The ergo is better but isnt comfortable to sit in for long periods becuase of the clips, also that newborn insert seems really warm or is that just me?

it probably is a bit hot, yeah.
I'm surprised the wrap is no good - they usually are very comfy. perhaps it's just bad luck with that one.
