Has anyone used spotlight to have custom curtains made?
I have really big windows that are too wide for standard rods and I need curtains, but I don't want it to cost the Earth.
Any suggestions?

Spotlight do 'magic' curtains, which already have the ring holes or tape on them and they can roll out as much as you need. Then you just need to hem the sides and bottom to length. You don't even need a sewing machine, I have done some with an iron and hemming tape. It works out quite a lot cheaper for not much effort.
ohh i want to 'like' that. do they have a good selection of fabric?

I've used the magic drape stuff myself. I have a lovely burdungy shot silk with the block out back. It came with the rings - I bought it during a 20% off sale so look out for those!
They don't have a fantastic range, but enough to find something that will work. I have them in 5 rooms now and have managed to find something suitable each time. The ring ones are great, they concertina up nicely so they aren't as bulky as the hook ones. As Ausgirl said, look out for the sales![]()
My gf used Spotlight for Holland Blinds and they look great and she is happy with them
