DH brought me back a piece of Grouchy Ladybug fabric from the US. He was so proud of his find, so I really want to do something cool with it. But I'm a little uninspired. I don't do a lot with quilting fabrics, so not really sure. I made a cute little pinny with another piece he bought us, and happy to do that again, but it wouldn't be optimal use of the fabric. I've got six blocks, three with the title on them, and three with the ladybug's wings spread, and a few little ladybugs down the margin.
What are your ideas? Hit me with everything, especially outside the box.
Try googling "fat quarter projects" for inspiration. The 'sew mama sew' blog has a heap.
Things like: camera straps, dolls bedding, fabric buckets, fabric covered journal, bunting, doll sling, little drawstring bag to keep treasures in, bean bags...
