    Giving Teddy Milk

Just wanted to share something special that ds has started doing in the mornings about a month ago. We have co-slept since birth, first in our room then at 9 months he moved to his own room on his own double bed mattress and I sleep with him in there. As all cosleeping parents will know bubs is always very attached to them which I love but at about the same time we moved him down to his room I introduced a bee teddy bear which is also a heat pack. He had never taken to any teddys and still doesn't but thankfully he LOVED this new teddy. I was hoping that ds would attach well to his bee which can be warm in the winter and will make the transition down to my bed easier when the time comes. OK so to the point! lol When ds wakes up in the morning he has milk as we are still breastfeeding and then he would normally get his bee and give him a cuddle. Well now he puts his teddy on my boob for milk and if his teddy falls off a bit he corrects it and makes sure it's mouth is on my nipple. He has even then moved it over to the other boob! lol I hadn't really expected anything like that, I'm sure it happens but it's still lovely to see. DS loves his milk and seeing him share it with his teddy is just adorable and makes me feel a little more at ease that he's got his loved friend in bed with him when I move back down with dh.

DD just starting giving her hand me down doll 'baba'! My mum got excited, thinking DD was finally fulfilling her biological need to have plastic dolls and then realised it wasn't the doll factor, it was that the doll could be a BABY and babies need to be held close, fed breastmilk and do wee... It's so precious when they make the connection!

Maya It is lovely to see them making the connection. ds also often gets dh's hand and puts it on my face

Sunny, I'd so love ds to marry your dd! They would have beautiful babies!! He is very loving the little sweet heart, and loves to share. As soon as another kid comes over he rushes to get them a toy to play with, which is often a book (his favourite thing).
