    up yours!

Went for a walk round the lake with DH and kids last night. I was feeling all motivated so I took off from them and power walked around in the opposite direction while they played at a couple of the parks.
On the way round, there is a set of steps that I have seen people exercising on so still feeling motivated and fit I thought I would do my Rocky impersonation run/walk up and down the steps. There is 38 of them but whose counting??

So coming back down on my 3rd time struggling to breathe with very heavy legs, a young couple had just finished their run. Him all buff, tanned, hard and toned, Her a size 8 if shes lucky, tanned, tiny little bike pants and bra crop top.

We kinda glanced at each other but I had to concentrate on where I was putting my feet or they were gonna give out on me and then I heard him say to her "what are you doing?""Where are you going?"

She then proceeded to prance over and start running up and down the steps beside me! Taking them two at a time completely showing me just how wonderful she was! BIARCH

Yes I know that 98% is jealously and feel sorry for myself but seriously why would you do that?

By her boyfriend asking her that and standing there with his hands on his hips watching at the bottom I could tell this wasnt something she did all the time if at all?? Did she really have to decide then when she could see me struggling that now was a great time to start?
You wait, when im looking all fine and skinny I will not decide to flaunt my fitness and make someone feel worse about themselves just cause I can

    Ok Vent over

Except for if you ever see that biatch again LOL. Then you should flaunt it right in her face. What a childish thing for her to do though.

Yes... odd. She clearly has some issews. Maybe you should flaunt your mental health in front of her?

What a complete cow! She's just the sort of woman who would make a move on another woman's man just because she can . Grrrr....

Anyway, WELL DONE YOU!! Running up/down steps is an awesome way to build up your fitness levels. I feel motivated to climb that extra hill on our evening walk tonight!

ps: Maybe she saw your wonderful tribe and felt a little inadequate and this was all she could come up with to "compete"?!

Yay, I thought my jealousy was clouding my vision and maybe what she did was completely normal, but nope, you guys have validated my feelings for me

Cass it was only me there. DH had the other 3 at the park so clearly it was just the stunning way I was heaving and willing myself to the top that got made her feel inadequate?? Maybe it was the concentration on my face to make my jelly legs hold me up as I was not so gracefully descending?? Or maybe it was simply the way I was breathing as if each breath was my last

Who knows but I will not let her high school behaviour deter me in my quest to the new and improved Stacey

Or, you could take her actions as encouragement, as to how you'll be able to do the same action in the not-very-distant future!

She sucks!.good on you for doing your exercise. Her fitness is obviously the only thing she has going for her. She must be a very sad/low self esteem on the inside to make her need to feel good about herself by doing that. Xoxoxoxoxoxox

hj1981 I dont do running I cant run. I have seriously missed out on that gene, my Mum runs marathons!!

I dont mind walking though in fact I was out around the lake at 6.00am this morning so if you want a walking partner im all yours but I would rather swim around that lake then run it and have you seen the size of the eels in there?? lol

That's just kinda weird. I feel embarrassed for HER? Especially now that there is a whole thread who thinks she's a twatt.
