    Our 18th Wedding Anniversary

    Yesterday was our anniversary and it was a super special day. DH and the kids planned a surprise for me. We don't have family or babysitters so it's been literally 16yrs since DH and I have been out on our own. He booked the restaurant where we went for our first wedding anniversary and the boys looked after the girls for 2hrs, 2hrs of pure bliss and romance, it was the best ever.

    Congratulations on your anniversary. Sounds like you had a wonderful night and how lovely of your boys. Maybe they might make it a regular thing for you, once a month or so, that would be nice.

    Thanks ladies, it was really refreshing and the restaurant is down on the waterfront so we went for a lovely walk afterwards. DH was funny, he got all romantic on me, I was worried he'd try and serenade me with a song lol.
