I'm not sure if I'm wording this right, but I'll try my best to get across what I'm trying to find out...hehehe
Do spirits visit you in your dreams?
Not spirits of people I know that have passed away. More like just someone with a message for me, like a guide.
I do feel like I could communicate with the spirits, or guides, or angels, or whatever they are that around me, but I'm a bit scared and consciously block them.
So on the few times I've tried to meditate, I ask my guides to communicate with me through my dreams. To kind of 'ease' me into receiving messages without scaring me off. I always have very vivid and lasting dreams, so I can rely on remembering any messages I might get. Always my foremost question is about wanting to know when I will be pregnant again, and how many children I will have.
Last night, this is the dream I had:
It was like watching a TV soap episode except I was somehow present, feeling the same things as the main character.
A woman had hired a psychic medium to come to her home. She was having trouble conceiving and wanted to know if she would get pregnant. The psychic was an older man - portly, grey haired and friendly. He told me/the lady to darken the room before we begin, played soft music, and got us to close our eyes so we wouldn't be frightened. He held 'our' arm and started flapping his other hand in my face. I felt it at the same time I watched him doing it to the lady. He said "You need to stop asking this question. Don't worry. You don't need to keep asking, it will happen. This is the message I am getting, to tell you to stop asking this, everything will be fine". He then went on to say that he saw 2 boys, or 2 more boys, I'm not sure which.
At that point the lady in the dream's husband came home. He wasn't supposed to be home yet, she felt a bit guilty about having a psychic over to answer her questions.
Then I woke up.
As soon as I woke up though, I knew the lady in the dream was me, and I felt that the man posing as a psychic was actually a spirit. He was just using the characters to keep me from being scared.
So has this sort of thing happened to anyone else? Do spirits/guides do this sort of thing? Or is it just my overactive imagination and vivid dreams gone wild?
I have had plenty of dreams where I am other people in their lives. But I've always known I am not me. If that makes sense. I've been privvy to other people's lives iykwim?
But I do believe you can definitely have messages sent to you in dreams.
Even though in my dreams I'm not me, I do believe that these are still messages. Sometimes I don't know what they are straight away.
Yes. These sorts of dreams will usually stand out due to their vividness, your own sense of the importance of the message, and the way the energy of it stays with you long after you've woken.
