a few problems with face/head and hips

    hi all,

my beautiful baby boy has a few problems with an underdeveloped jaw, a flat head, an asymetrical face and been told today to get xrays to check his hips.

just wondering if anyone has had experience with these issues, im a seeing a chiro and trying to put him on the other side to help the shape of his head, just a bit concerned about how the underdeveloped jaw and asymetrical face may affect him later on in life.

    thanks

    hmm
i couldnt not reply when i read this. sounds like they havent given you much info why they want to check his hips. Perhaps they are suspecting a syndrome that can cause hip problems as well. Have you got a good pead you can speak to?
Otherwise the local children's hospital might be a good point of call!
They often have support groups for babies with similar problems
Definately you need more information and a treatment plan to give you some direction that they are doing something pro-active to help rectify you son's health issues. Its important to do whilst they are young some thing too- esp flat heads etc!
good luck and keep us informed
perhaps even introduce yourself in the intro section as well!!
