Moving to Parramatta!! .... does it get hot???

Its happening!
we are moving in about 3 weeks! ahhhhh

I have found a place i like to rent hoping it is a nice area!

question though... it has no fans or aircon... will i survive or should i look at a different place?

It does get hot. I think as high as in the 40's in summer.

I have only been to Parramatta a couple of times in my life, so can't help too much. You could always buy a pedestal fan or portable aircon if you found you needed it?

I lived in Parra without air-con & it was OK, I would invest in some fans though. There shouldn't be the stinking hot over 40's days until Dec/Jan (don't shoot me if there is a freak super hot day!)

You would not have needed one this summer. I have used my aircon once all summer so far and my fan is still in the shed.

It would usually get hot though so when all the sales start soon at places like goodguys you will be able to get some good portable aircons of good fans on sale.

I work in Parra (when I'm not on leave) and yes it does, but this summer you should be right with a pedestal fan. but what I notice more about Parra is in autumn/winter/spring it is often colder and windier than surrounding suburbs for some reason.

Dh got a call last night saying he needs to start on the 5th!
So here I am at 5am looking up rentals as I have so much to do in the next fortnight omg


Nervous as hell but excited.
