    Mosquito repellent for toddlers?

We are travelling to Malaysia in April and I'm just wondering if anyone could suggest mosquito repellent that's safe for my 16 month old DD. As this trip is our first trip travelling with bub, DH and I would appreciate any suggestions from anyone. Thanks a lot.

I have a natural moisturiser that repels mozzies, DS hasn't had a single bite with it on. Which is saying something, we attract them like iron filings to a magnet. Not sure if it's good enough for use in Malaysia, never been there, but the vendor says she use tod live in Cairns and it's all they used.

It's called "bush essentials natural moisturiser". Let me knew if you're interested and I'll send you their email address.

You can get these cool things from camping stores for about $20 which use ultrasound to repel insects so are perfectly safe. They repel within a 3 metre radius and can be set on for 12 hours at a time meaning you would also be covered of a night. They just take little watch batteries so can easily be changed when flat.

Rid or Aeroguard (can't remember which one) now has a specific 'kids' roll-on. We've used it on DD and our nephews and it's worked well with no issues for any of them.

It's called a tail swat body spray from Moogoo and it's deet free. For some reason they're not allowed to advertise it as insect repellent. I can't remember why but I think it might have something to do with the ingredients.

I have purchased an all natural mosquito protection from a market. I have heard of lots of people who use this and it is safe on babies under 6 months also.

It is called Vanilla Mozi, smells really nice.

I have seen citronella wristbands at the chemist that are supposed to be good for kids, haven't tried them myself though.
