    Tell me its a phase?

My DD just learned yesturday during the day to flip herself onto her stomach yesturday, she had been doing it occasionally in her sleep but had kept her wrapped well last night was awful every hour wake ups becuase she was on her stomach and crying.

She is also vomiting, becuase she is refluxy being on her stomach seems to make her chuck up milk.

Now it seems she wants to practise around the clock, her day sleeps are gone too. Ive had to put her in a sleeping bag becuase its not safe to wrap her anymore with all the rolling and she flips out of the sleep positioner I had.

Do I just have to ride this out? Ugh day one and I'm already had it LOL. She wants to sleep it seems but keeps getting woken up by the urge to flip.

Edit: there she goes again 4th time in an hour Why does she get so upset if she is doing it to herself?

Have you heard of a safe T sleep? A few of my friends used them and swear by them!

For us it was a phase that lasted under a week. Our son seemed upset because his muscles were practicing the skill without his consent and he objected to being woken up

Yeah, its a phase. DD wants to roll around the cot more (she too gets stuck on her belly but just starting to roll from front to back.. so its passing! lol) when shes overtired.

When she began rolling and upwrapping herself I brought her a "wrap me up" swaddle. Check it out. Its meant to discourage rolling. Though that being said, DD has recently learnt how to roll in it but it does make it harder and she gives up after a while.

Without even reading what your little one is doing I will say that yes it is a phase. One thing I have learned with this parenting thing is that no matter if it is good or bad, everything with a baby is a phase!!! LOL! But seriously they do change so much and every development leap affects their sleep. In fact sometimes they sleep less because they want to practice a new skill. Like flipping for example! LOL!

Exactly what I was going to say - everything good or bad generally passes! Mine did the same but it didn't last long at all

Yeah I have a wombie wrap but she just rolls in that too, I figure arms out is better than arms strapped down. We also have wrap me up swaddles and she rolls in those, and she rolls around out of her blanket wrap.
