    clary sage

I'm sure some of you have heard of the essential oil clary sage being useful for strengthening uterine contractions in labour. But I have recently discovered it is also brilliant for PMT, stress, tension headaches and menstrual cramps. In fact it is so awesome I have made some up in a massage blend (with almond oil and lemongrass essential oil) and I keep it with me for those moments when I am feeling unable to cope. It just cleared my headache in about 5 minutes when normally I would have to turn to at least panadol. It also calms my PMT rage really fast just by adding a few drops to my pulse points.

Anyway, just wanted to share in case anyone has some lying around the house and didn't know what to do with it outside of labour Just remember you can't put it directly on the skin without being diluted by a carrier oil

I find it really good mixed with lemongrass as both clary sage and lemongrass are very uplifting, which is what I need. But for a more calming one maybe you could mix it with lavender or another calming oil?
