Have to replace the lino in the kitchen hall, any advice for best way to cut to shape as we have alot of odd angles and the best way to stick the edges down.
Honestly I would get someone in to do it. My hubby does this for a living and the number of times he is called in to repair a job when someone has tried to do it and has wrecked their flooring. Also, are you getting vinyl or proper lino? Lino is much harder to cut and fit.
However if you want to do it yourself then push the lino into the shape of where it will go and use a very sharp blade to slice it once it is down. Another way it to make a paper template but if you do this make it slightly larger than you need to account for error. You might need more than one blade as it will blunt quickly and be less effective. The place you are buying it from should be able to sell you a spray glue for sticking it down.
