My brother wants us to take on a piglets...

My brother has just messaged me that they have been on a pig shooting trip out west and caught lots of piglets. He has asked us to have one maybe two to rear for meat. We are about to move into 1.3 acres and have always wanted to rear our own food. But it is pretty sudden. He put some photos up on fb and they look like quite young piglets.

So what do I need to know before I say yes or no?? He has offered to build a pig pen at our new place, and we have a small enclosure at our place currently that would work for right now. What about nights tho?? What would a piglet need?? These would be feral pigs I am assuming, although I can see he is handling them and they look pretty docile

What does everyone think?? I need advice cos I haven't had time to think this thru

Check if you are allowed to have them first step. Nothing worse than setting up the pen and then having the neighbours complain about the smell they are a bit messy but nice pets....There are restrictions on small acreage lots still. Not sure I could eat them after getting to know them? Iykwim! Goodluck!
