You're number 1 pick for a weekend away?

I'm planning a long weekend away with DF sometime before the baby arrives and I'd love some ideas on locations.

Up until now we have always gone up the sunshine coast - but I want something a little different this time!

What's your favourite place for a weekend away???

Head south - much more laid back that the Sunshine Coast.

Hastings Point... Pottsville... Red Rock or Corindi Beach (between Grafton and Coffs Harbour)...

why don't you go to melbourne?

Elocin - that was my original thought, it's all so lovely down there. I will look into some of those places - it'll be so nice to relax near the beach!

Ginger - I love the idea of going to Melbourne, I've never been before and DF is down there sometimes for work and had always said he'd like to go down there for a touristy kind of visit. I've got my heart set on a good view from the balcony and relaxing a lot - not sure if DF would be happy down there without being out and about though lol. He does absolutely love flying though lol maybe I can figure out how we can do both!

Go to Airlie Beach it's awesome cheap flights and heaps to do

When I think of Airlie Beach I think of party central lol - which really isn't my scene anymore. Is it like that or actually more relaxed?
