    Suburbs close to Virginia, Brisbane/QLD

Need to look at some rentals that are within 30-45 mins of Virginia in Brisbane, need to be in the catchment of a good school as well.

Any help would be great, we've lived in Brisbane before but not the north side.

Do you want private schools or public? I know my sil is happy with the school her kids go to at north lakes but it's a private one.

I live on the northside but a good 35 minutes drive north of Virginia (not in peak hour). The further north you go, the cheaper the rentals will be so it depends on how far you are willing to travel. I don't know too many of the public schools, sorry, I am mostly familiar with the secondary schools. There are quite a few public schools with a good rep at the junction of Bald Hills / Bracken Ridge, and the rent is reasonable out that way. I like the area (used to live there) and especially liked the fact that it is near the junction of Gympie Road and the Gateway so it's easy to travel on the major arterial roads.

Good public primarys on the Northside are Ferny Hills, Albany Creek and Everton Park. There are lots of others but these I know personally as very good schools. as Maruschke said it depends on what rent you're wanting to pay. I second the Bald Hills area.
