Rissoles - What to serve with them...

The title is pretty much the question. What do you serve with rissoles when you serve them for your family? Or is it just at BBQs?

I usually do mashed potatoes, some steamed veg (peas, corn, carrots), and gravy. Anyone got something different??? We do the usual three steam veg SO often! Getting a little bored...

Packet pasta and sauce and vegies.

Put in bread and add cheese etc as a burger.

I usually do something like risotto - grate up some vegetables like pumpkin and zuccini so they can be hidden - or cous cous. Also cauliflower that I process and then dry fry with some veggies added in.

How about a nice potato bake or pasta bake, that is what I usually serve if I'm sick of steamed veg. Or a baked potato filled with bacon, cheese and sour cream with a green salad on the side.

We use a Donna Hay meatball recipe for inspiration and serve with pita bread, hummus, cherry tomatoes, baby spinach and mint. You can have as is or pile them up and eat like a wrap.

Pasta or rice salad, with whatever veg you would otherwise have steamed.
Couscous (those flavoured packets are very easy, but it's not so hard to add a few of your own flavourings, and it's much cheaper.
