    I am not your slave!

So over DD's (2 1/2) current phase, whenever she wants something or I ask her to do something it's "I get it" or "I do it!"

Which would be fine, if only the 'I' didn't mean 'me', as in, mummy!
Even something as simple as picking a ball up which she wants to play with! Gahh!! You were happily independent before, I know you can do these things all by yourself!

My DD is only 20 months but this is definitely one of my pet peeves with her! She will want her drink bottle or a ball or something else and its "narni narni narni" until i give it to her. If i don't she will chuck a massive wobbley and smash her face into the floor then scream bloody murder.

I know sometimes she gets tired and i understand. i will offer her things but when she is being lazy it drives me up the wall.

Oh she's like that too when it takes her fancy Stevie! Lol. Picking her clothes in the morning for example...and you know what hits the fan if I try and do it (the threat 'hurry up and choose them then or I'll do it for you!' seems to work ok though!)

Sometimes it can be cute..she'll fill a glass of water for me, bring it over and say "I want a drink?" Naww..and of course I'll have a drink even if I don't want it..must reward the cute & helpful behaviour! Lol
