Anyone with experience with developmental delays due to hypermobility? Just wondering how much of a delay is likely. I'll talk more with physio next time anyway
DD is 15 months and is pulling herself up on things, so not too delayed at present, but I think it's going to be quite a while before she has the strength to walk.
I have a friend whos son has hypermobility... He would 2 now? he was only diagnosed a few months ago. i dont know much details but can find out for you. i know he was delayed in walking and when he did start he wouldnt walk much because of pain in his legs.
I just read a bit more into her blog (she is a friend IRL too) and her son has shoe splints which have helped dramatically, he is walking properly now because of the splints.
