Side dishes for prosciutto wrapped beef?

As the title suggests I need some side dishes for a piece of beef fillet that I am cooking tomorrow night - the beef will be wrapped in pesto and prosciutto - yum yum!

I am never good with matching accompaniments to main meals and always end up doing a plain old salad and roast veg so all ideas are welcome to get me out of my rut!

I need something reasonably easy to make and inexpensive (as have already spent a bit on the meat, alcohol etc). There will be 8 adults and 9 children. The kids will most probably just be having bbq sausages and salad. I was also going to be doing some homemade crumbed chicken for both adults and kids (have one non-meat eater adult and all the kids love my crumbed chicken as do I!).

Looking forward to being inspired by you all! TIA.

What about just some steamed baby carrots, broccolini and asparagus? If you've got a sauce to go over the meat then you could also put it over the vegies. You could also have something like scalloped potatoes.

Steamed beans with some lemon and either pine nuts or feta is yummy!

Roasted asparagus or roasted broccoli & Cauliflower Salad ŵith garlic and lemon juice. And maybe a mashed potato with basil, lemon juice and Parmesan.

I make this dish for my hubby and all I serve it with are sliced potatoes roasted in the oven with some oil and rosemary. He loves it. I think beans would also go well with it?
