    Having accidents at school?

Twice this week I have picked DD up from school and she has had dirty knickers - she says that she hasn't been to the toilet today so I think she is accidentally dirtying herself when she farts during the day and not realising it.

Today I knew she had done it because I could smell it as soon as we were in the car - it was really smelly and I'm feeling so embarrassed for her being in class smelling like that

She doesn't know when it happened today but she knows that her bottom was itchy at lunchtime and had been annoying her ever since.

What should I do about this?

She isn't unwell in any way or having any accidents at home. I'll tell her teacher tomorrow and put spare knickers in her bag so she can change if she needs to - but the thing is she isn't aware until she is home.

    Any ideas would be great!

Tricky situation. I have no experience but i think that's a good idea packing extra undies for her. Maybe tell her to change her knickers at lunch time and playtime just incase.

Not sure what else you could do but I understand you not wanting her embarrassed by the smell.

    Good luck

I was told that it's quiet common for preps to have accidents in first year of school.
I was thinking maybe she has wet farts but if she smells it's obviously more than that, I'd talk to her teacher darl

Is she happy at school, doesn't have a nervous tummy at all that is causing this? definitely spare knickers, DD has a spare pair in her bag too. I am sure her teacher will have come across this and know what to suggest. x
