Of all the things to feel guilty for....

I have cloth nappied the other two kids. Right ATM even though I have a lovely stash, I cannot be stuffed using cloth for Holly.

    And I feel terrible.

I have to change her more often, her clothes don't fit properly, they leak NB poo (yes I have fitteds and covers, but they fall in the not pretty, too hard basket) - all minor obstacles I have overcome a thousand times before. DH lives away so the whole washing, hanging, folding and putting away seems like another list of things to do.

She's been in sposies for 4 of her 7 weeks. I hate them, but they're just easier. I've been thinking about selling the whole lot....and then the guilt overcomes me and I think....no

no need to reply really, just hoping someone 'gets' it.

Kim, this is me *EXACTLY*!!! DS2 is now in part-time cloth / part-time eco-sposies and I’ve let go of most of the guilt. Seriously this post could have been written word for word by me. I totally get it.

Totally get it. I turned to disposables when the twins were newborn despite having never used them for my elder two boys. Don't stress, we all do what we have to in order to get by. You might switch back in the future when you feel more ready to.

I get it! I just keep reminding myself: 7 minutes a day. All the washing, folding, putting away works out on average, to 7 minutes a day...

    Thank you so much girls.

Limey...I know. I do keep reminding myself. Then the voice of reason says "Hey stupid! You're scrounging for 30seconds to go to the loo - 7 minutes is huge!"

Trav that is true. Might hang on to them but move them out of the top draw where they haunt me ATM lol.

Surely you've done something worse to feel guilty about?

I sway between being right into cloth, and then feeling like I can't be bothered... I get it.

Don't feel bad sweetie, maybe put them away for a bit and bring them out when things have calmed down (or don't )
